Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Dharashiv is established in Sept.1986 by Government Of Maharashtra With U.G. Intake Capacity of 25 Students with Inpatient beds 75. From year 2000 U.G. student intake capacity is extended to 50 and IPD Beds extended to 160. At present U.G. intake capacity is 50 +13 (EWS Quata). College also runs Post Graduate Courses in Prasutitantra, Balrog, Shalyatantra, Sharir Rachana, Sharirkriya, Ras Shastra, Dravyaguna & Agadtantra Departments with 60 intake Capacity. College runs PhD course in 4 departments. Shortly expected to start 125 UG intake Capacity also P.G. Courses in other remaining Departments.
       College is running in its own building with hostel facility for Boys & Girls in separate own buildings. Proposal is being sent to Government to construct new UG & PG Hostels for Boys & Girls and Separate Examination section, Library, Auditorium also.
          College has its own Library with Full Of Books, Separate Reading Rooms For UG & PG Students. Also available Highly Qualified and experienced faculty, well-equipped laboratories and a beautiful herbal garden as pae norms.
